Acceptance of your order
After you have made your choice and placed your order, you will receive an email that confirms your order information. This email is NOT an acknowledgement of your order, just a confirmation we received it.
Your order will be approved and the contract between you and Handmade By Marie will be completed when we send you an e-mail confirming that your products are in production. You can not cancel your order once your order is in production.
The sale contract is determined in England and Wales. The language of the contract is English. Neither our third-party payment processor nor our designated courier has the authority on behalf of Handmade By Marie to accept an order.
We reserve the right not to approve your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to receive payment authorisation, that delivery restrictions apply to a particular item, that the item ordered is out of stock, that materials are unavailable for completing your order, or that any of the above-mentioned items do not meet our quality control standards and are withdrawn.
We may also, at our sole discretion, refuse to process and so reject any transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time.
We shall not be responsible to you or any third party for our removal from the Website of any product, whether or not that merchandise has been sold, deleted, screened or edited. This includes any materials or content on the website, any process of a transaction, stopped or suspended and any transaction after the processing has started.
While every effort is made to ensure that descriptions and pricing are correct on our website, we can occasionally find an error in product details or pricing. If we discover in your order an error in the pricing of a product, we will let you know as soon as possible. We are not obliged to accept or fulfill an order for a product sold at an incorrect price and reserve the right to cancel an order accepted or in transit.
When you order an incorrectly priced product for any reason, we will send you an email or telephone to notify you that we did not accept your order and/or that the specific part of your order has been cancelled. If you have already paid for the goods, the full amount will be refunded as soon as we are able. We will process the refund once the goods have been returned to us if the items are recalled in transit.
Order Processing Times
Most orders will be delivered within 3 weeks. You will be informed of any delays during busy periods or for large orders, or if we expect the processing time to be longer than usual for any reason.

Payments can be made through all major credit card and debit providers. After placing your order, the payment will be debited from your account by Handmade By Marie. You agree that the credit / debit card you are using is yours, or that the credit / debit card owner has expressly allowed you to use it. All credit / debit card holders are subject to authorization checks by the card issuer. If your payment card issuer fails to approve the charge, we shall not be responsible for any delay or failure to deliver.
We take reasonable care to make our Site secure. All credit/debit card transactions on this site are processed using Stripe, a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment.
We take reasonable steps to keep the details of your order and payment safe in so far as we are allowed to do so. Apart from negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any damage that you may incur if a third-party grants unauthorised access to any data that you provide when accessing or purchasing from the Website.
All of our items are handmade. Therefore, if you wish to cancel your order you should contact us as soon as possible. Orders can not be cancelled if we have ordered the fabric and other stock pieces in especially for your order and/or your order has already started being made/produced. However, we’ll do our utmost to meet your needs. Though this is not always possible, when production has already started. Therefore, please contact us ASAP if you have any questions or concerns regarding your order or speak with us before you place your order.
Purchase of products
If you buy a product using the Services, you establish a contract with Handmade By Marie.
We are under a legal duty to supply goods that conform with their description on the website.
At our sole discretion we can refuse to process and therefore authorise a transaction to anybody at any time for any reason. This includes refusing to accept a transaction or unwind or cancel any transaction after it has started processing.
You will receive an order confirmation email from us, after you have placed an order on the website. This email includes your order number, details of the items you ordered from us and details of the delivery. Please note that this email is a confirmation of your order and does not mean acceptance of your order by us. Your order will be approved and a sales contract will be established when your order is placed in production and we will give you an email confirming this.
If placing an order for the first time, the need to register with us and fill in certain required fields on an order form may be required or may be requested. Where we request that you provide and use identifiers and passwords to access restricted parts of the Website, it is on condition that you are responsible for ensuring that those identifiers and passwords are kept secure and confidential at all times. If you become aware or suspect any unauthorised use of your account, you shall comply with all security instructions and/or recommendations provided by us and inform us immediately.
Use of website
Occasionally, we may amend the Terms at our sole discretion. Read the terms and conditions and check back regularly. If you do not consent to any changes to the Terms and Conditions, then you need to stop using the Services immediately.
Please note that these Terms do not affect your Consumer Statutory Rights. Contact your local Citizens Advice Bureau, or Trading Standards Office for more information about your rights.
You accept in all respects that the information you provide when you register is valid, correct, current and full. Should any information concerning your registration change please notify us immediately. We may also sometimes change the registration requirements.

Any material you submit to the Website or that you send to us via any other means (including all social media) shall be deemed non-confidential, non-proprietary and we shall have the right to use, edit, distribute and publish such material for any purpose to third parties. We shall not be responsible to you or any third party for the information or accuracy of any material posted by you or any other user of the Services and you agree to be liable for and indemnify us and indemnify us against any charges, fines, expenditures, loss and liabilities incurred and/or sustained by us as a result of any claims relating to your use of the Services.
